The Montana Master Gardener Program serves as an education and volunteer service organization to technical assistance and unbiased, research-based information on consumer horticulture to people in all Montana communities.
Through the Master Gardener program individuals are empowered with sound horticultural practices that minimize negative impacts on the environment.
Gold Country Montana Master Gardeners provide resources to support certified Montana Master Gardeners and students.

We provide volunteer opportunities and mentoring to students enrolled in all levels of Montana Master Gardener classes; and once certified, we offer quality continuing education events, networking, and volunteer and mentoring opportunities.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based organization providing resources, quality continuing education, as well as volunteer and networking opportunities to Montana Master Gardeners.
We also welcome gardening enthusiasts in Montana who are not Master Gardeners.
Whether you're new to gardening in the general Helena area, an experienced backyard gardener, working a small homestead, and/or a Montana Master Gardener, we have information and resources to help you!
